Benedict Davies

Benedict Davies is a senior staff designer at Google and the UX lead for Search in London. He heads a team responsible for Google Go, an internet and search app for new smartphone users, and for the development of features for the Android Google Search App. He has been at Google for over a decade and previously lead UX for Google Arts & Culture and worked on design for emerging markets products in sub-Saharan Africa and South-East Asia, second screen experiences for YouTube and mobile search and syndication. Prior to Google he worked for Samsung Design Europe on mass-market and bespoke mobile projects and for Hutchison Whampoa on the launch of the first 3G networks in Europe and Hong Kong.
